Is it ok to ask for help in these forums?

I am aware that this is not Tom's, this is the first place I have tried visiting as it seems to be the only place where the forums are lively. I am dual booting my PC with Windows 7 and Windows 10. Upon installing Windows 10 I have found sever errors in the updates. After searching the MSI site, I cant find any of the drivers needed that failed to install.
Upon viewing them in Device Manager, there shows no conflicts but when I view properties it shows "This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem." under the resources tab and under General it shows "No drivers are installed for this device." Upon trying to Update the driver I search automatically it goes through the process, but determines that the device is up to date. I am going to try uninstalling completely and trying to let Windows Update handle it, by itself. Can anyone tell me what these failed updates correlate to? I might try using an older versions install application to install working drivers.

That AMD update and the SMBus update sounds like what you will find here.
Chipsets in step 1, I'm assuming you are using that 8300 and the 970 board in your profile so select AMD 9-Series in step 2 and continue from there.

EDIT: My assumption was correct lol. Also, you can use the edit button below the post. Looks like a pencil to the left, under the post.
