Hi,
So yesterday morning I woke up my Fedora 26 from suspend and everything worked fine, then I rebooted, that is when this problems started occurring. I multi-boot with Windows 7 and I use a wired USB keyboard, so after rebooting, at the GRUB menu, the keyboard was not responding, so I press reset button, the same problem occurs, then I disconnect everything from the power socket, but it was connected to the UPS but I turned it off. Same problem.
So I tried other USB slots at the back, the same problem persisted, I finally connected the USB keyboard to the USB hub connected to a USB 3.0 slot at the back and the keyboard started working. The other USB slots, which didn't work with the keyboard, worked with the mouse. This problem was occurring in Windows 7 also.
Now the front USB slot is not working with thumb drive but it is working with USB headset.
Since this problem started I'm unable to wake up my computer through USB keyboard, I have to press the power button to wake it up.
I'm unable to understand why this problem developed. I tried enabling legacy mode in BIOS/UEFI but still the problem persists. Is this because of a low-level virus?
Thanks
