Every processor is different. Just because someone else can hit X.XX GHz on their X5690 means you can copy and paste their settings and experience the same results. There's far too many variables involved. In order to find the limits of your X5690, you have to do it the old fashioned way. Find your maximum base clock and then find some balance of multiplier and base clock to achieve your maximum overclock. I'm assuming your X5690 won't overclock significantly higher than the X5650. The main difference between the two processors is the multipliers available.
