Mine arrived today! Sucks I have to wait at least another 24hrs after putting sys-reboot in the loop for cleaning.

Mine arrived today aswell. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do it yet. Hopefully I can start a 24h ReBoot flush this weekend and fill it up on Sunday.

Need to be sure all the Pastel Extreme flushes out so I'm going to have it run for 24hrs just to be sure.

My Vue should arrive tomorrow, just a couple of quick questions:

1) I'm mounting my GPU vertically and upgrading my CPU, so I'm thinking I'll flush my loop of EK Pastel tonight, and run distilled water till the Vue+Reboot comes in tomorrow. Is it safe to continue playing games etc. tonight with just the distilled water in?

2) When I've got the reboot going through the loop, is it safe to play games etc. whilst that's going?

Really excited to get this thing done biggrin.gif

Yeah you should be fine. Even if you have growth with warm temps, the reboot will kill it off. Just wouldn't run it for a week that's all.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response. Definitely won't be running the distilled water alone for more than a day, I just figured it might help with pulling out the dye if I did a flush of just distilled and then another of reboot for 24-48 hours before going for the Vue.

Also doesn't help that my move to a vertical GPU, whilst cool looking, means I have to redo alot of bends and I was terribad at it last time hahaha

Nice,

I ordered the powder red coolant as well. It will be here on Monday, due to Thanksgiving.

After waiting impatiently, it's time to drain the system and install Vue. A few hiccups due to my part of being finicky but it's done for now.

Sorry, had to make a revision to the video and setup. I didn't like some of the LED setup in my case. Either it was too dark or just placed wrong.

Nice loop.
I read somewhere, and found out myself that the VUE likes front lighting.

So, because I can't find anything just right, I'm going to get some quite powerful LEDs and make small tubes for them so I can get spotlights in my case. A couple of test spots should only cost a couple of bucks and take a few hours to make.
I want a light and shadow thing with stronger light highlighting certain key parts of the VUE movement.
