I've said this several times before but I don't need to convince you or anyone else about anything regarding this matter. It is happening right now and you're turning a blind eye on whatever doesn't fit your skewed point of view.

I leave discussions before entering an endless loop of repeating the very same thing for pages upon pages. I save both of us time and other forum members scrolling through it. I ignore a lot of people for this very reason. If you want to consider it a victory good for you, for me it just means that I gave up on your nonsense.

In fact I'm adding you to my ignore list because you bore me to no end.

1. Makes statements and isn’t willing to defend them
2. Treats everyone who doesnt agree with him ridely
3. Adds me to the ignore list

Oh boy the horror of enduring your pettiness.

Wind is rapidly becoming cheaper and is the best source of energy. Except it isn’t being adopted because people are stupid. Not because old reactors are still working + gas is very cheap right now. The blasphemy.

So you're saying that

is just as aerodynamic as this Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I actually wouldn't know so you guys tell me which one is more aerodynamic.

The second (traditional) cab is more aerodynamic. The greater the front surface, the more drag is created. The relatively flat nose of the cab on the bottom is the biggest sources of wind resistance, but as you can tell is much smaller than the cabover above that has a comparatively much larger front-facing flat surface for the air to collide with. The traditional nose pushes much of the air up and over the windshield where it meets the cab roof fairing. The air is also directed around the truck using the shaping of the nose around the headlights that flows backwards towards the back of the cab and trailer. You can actually see that the cabover above shares much of these features, though they're very subtle due to the obviously shortened nose of the cab.

Regardless, both have their problems and inefficiencies. The perfect aerodynamic shape to model the nose of a truck after would be that of a teardrop. The MAN Concept S is a good example of what an implementation with this design looks like, and Tesla's design doesn't look far off. You can see they're both more of a hybrid of the long nose of a traditional and the non-existent nose of a cabover.

Edit: Realized my link led to a god-awful YouTube video. Replaced with the intended image.

That's pretty interesting. I'ma ssuming that traditional trucks haven't adapted the "teardrop" shape because of the need to fit their engines into the chassis?
