How about the 7c/kwh electricity guarantee? Or the million miles powertrain guarantee? Slippery.

I'm guessing it must use a significant amount of battery to do it.

awd + unlimited torque + massive weight on the tires = perfect launch

drag racing is the most idiotic form of motorsport and the point still stands, no one wants a mute supercar

not sure what you're trying to prove, the car in that vid isn't production or street-legal, and it still sounds like a whiny vacuum cleaner

That's a pretty bold claim. Have you surveyed literally everyone in the world? Or even a representative sample?

Because I'm pretty sure there are some people out there who wouldn't mind a mute supercar, especially for 1/5th the price of a noisy one. Heck, with that price differential you could hire a sound designer for 15 years to make nice custom vroom vroom noises for you.

Oh my god I don't want this car, I NEED IT! wheee.gif It's about twice the cost of my Viper, don't know if I can do that high. *starts saving pennies.

This Roadster utterly destroys petrol sports cars and at a fraction of the price.

The car is so fast, it is actually right at the limit of all-wheel drive traction limits. The car is basically "end game" speed. Basically removes "new-car-itis".

tesla has attained apple-like cult status, all the buzz right now is coming from the mainstream. visit any auto forum and you'll get a proper perspective on electric sports cars

btw you think you can replicate the sound and energy of a real engine through....sound design? by pumping fake noise through speakers? lol
