Huh interesting, my G Pro does it as well, though it's only audible when i really put my ear near the sensor.

Thread Starter
I wouldn't mind if it were only audible next to my ear, but mine is audible at a sitting distance and gets super annoying.

Is everyone that got this mouse earlier than the rest of us having this problem?

Or is there anyone out there with a silent copy?

Wow.... this is bad news this mouse was a long time coming to have this issue. Have you guys contacted Zowie yet about the issue if anything to at least let them start being aware of the issue. With so many having the issue it can't be too isolated. I am going to link this thread to the original thread for the mouse.

I have been thinking about getting this mouse, especially since the CS:GO edition was revealed. How loud is it? Does it make the noise 24/7? Should I get a different mouse because of this?

EDIT: After reading more replies, is it true that the sound stops once you unplug it?

It would have to stop after you unplug it considering there would be no electricity going to the device to cause the noise.

Unplugging the mouse when not in use is not a fix for this, it is a work around for a hardware issue. Zowie needs to look into this, I will try and contact them maybe push them to look at this thread if possible
