I have been searching the forums for some time now after purchasing a 6850k and now have upgraded to a 6950x.
I have a 360rad with a d5 pump from xspc to cool the beast.
corsair 3200mhz memory set to manual timings 4x8gb i have set to 1.40v
my goal is a stable 4.4ghz with an avx offset of -2 since i don't use many avx applications.
right now i have cpu settings of
1.92v vccin
1.350v vcore with adaptive/offset of .025 for a 4.4ghz voltage of 1.375v would like to be lower once i find the instablility
1.200v vring with adaptive/offset of .025 cach is at 3.4ghz
1.200v system agent
temps hang around 75' never hit 80'
but cant seem to get it totally stable this is on a msi x99a godlike carbon mobo
i understand the silicone lottery aspect but looking for suggestions to try before i give up on the goal and moving back to 4.3ghz
Thank you in advance for the advice let me know if you need any other information
