Help a man pick a replacement monitor. Too many choices.

So I've been using an acer 4k 60hz monitor for the past 2 years and it took a dump. I also have a LG 21:9 1440p ultrawide the OG 34um94p. I haven't had a hfr monitor since like 2012 in the 1080p days. So I went out and picked up a Acer 4k XB1 32inch g-sync. I was going to buy this in 2016 but ended up not pulling the trigger. However, I know HDR + HFR 4k is at some point next year. I am willing to go that route when the time comes given they aren't full of issues, but at the same time getting a bit tired of sli lol.

So in short:

#1) Getting rid of Sli (doesn't seem to work often these days, and my workarounds always get messed on the next patch for whatever) and going single card. Currently a titanxp on water. Will be whatever fastest thing nv puts out whenever it's out
#2) Do I keep the 4k gysnc or should I go for like a ASUS PG279Q (Won't I need to keep sli for this?). I don't like 27inch monitors as they seem to small to me, but if I can't help it then.
#3) I don't play first person FPS that much. Rarely.

I would add the Sumsung UN40MU6300 to your list, it will probably cost less than $400 on Friday.

Good Luck!

I have that already lol. I used it for a bit but having a 40inch tv on my desk made me dizzy, so it's in the kitchen now.

That Samsung uses PWM so maybe that was giving you headaches.

So I ended up buying the Alienware 1440p ultrawide. After ebates deal it was like 835 before tax as a hold on for now. I bought the 27 inch asus 165hz ips and had horrific bleed. Luckily the alienware deal came up.
