New monitor 1440p or 4K

Hey,

With all the monitors out there I am not seeing what to go for.

I don't game anymore but do alot of web development, remote support etc. Light photoshop use also for web design.

I can't seem to decide between 4K or 1440p, I was thinking of staying in 1440p .

Even with all the monitors out there I found the Dell U2715H to still be one of the decent options.

Is there any other decent 1440P monitors out there?

Honestly, it seems dated and relatively slow, no adaptive sync either.
There is not much to choose from though, for a little more you can find the 144Hz AUO variants, whether these older 60Hz panels offer better quality control, I would say not from my experience.
4k would be the way to go from 1440p. Or ultrawide, there are new ultrawides launched around now with 100Hz native IPS, cost a fortune unfortunately.

Yea I don't understand it the monitor market is really sad. After all these years its still the same stuff.

I don't really play games anymore, so I dont need the refreshrate. Everything is focused these days towards work ( web design, development, remote support etc...)

So I was browsing for either a new good 1440p (my monitor is dead), or step up and get a 4K.

Ultrawide is also a no go, especially not a curved. Its all good for gaming but in photoshop and lines its very annoying.
