Hello guys, I have two power supplies available that I've acquired for very cheap coming from a miner. Both PSUs are proven to work. Both PSUs are fully modular.
I have the EVGA psu hooked up to my system right now and it's been running great with no issues, but I am wondering if I might be better off with the corsair AX1200i PSU.
I would use the AX1200i as it is higher efficiency than the EVGA. Not that the G2 is a bad PSU, but if you have both there already paid for, might as well use the most efficient.

Yeah, but is it worth the work of taking the G2 out and putting the AX1200i in? It would be different if both PSUs were just sitting on his desk or in a closet, but the G2 is already installed.

But I think the point is that it's some physical labor. Is it worth it? I will say the answer is a definite 'no'. The only way it would be worth it is if we were talking about the possibility of replacing a bad PSU with a good one.
EVGA maybe more hassle free warranty if you're in US?
G2 more efficient at low loads.
AXi probably better otherwise a little.
Personally I would keep the one that is more quiet and consider how much and how easily each could be sold if you want to keep just one.
The biggest PITA of rewiring is plugging and unplugging some of the stupid connectors like ATX, EPS etc. hard to reach and hard to connect. Other than that, a few minutes to swap.
Thank you guys for your input. I will either put the corsair PSU on sale or hook it up to one of my extra PCs I have lying around at this point. I will keep the EVGA 1300w as it was running in my system for the past couple of months with no issue. The corsair PSU is the one i recently got from the same miner for super cheap and thought i'd ask if it's worth the hassle but it's not.
Thanks all
