2 internet radio and 1 amp

Hello

I dont really know much about audio but for our office we are looking for a cheap solution to have 2 internet radios and one amp so we can have different music and volume in the rooms.

In total around 10 simple speakers need to be connected.

I was thinking of buying this and than coonnect 2 simple internet radios and 10 speakers would this work?

1) That is a PA (Public Address) amplifier and not made for playing music. It's made for playing just voices. It will play music though, just not very well

2.) 350-450 watts is way overkill for what you want to do.

2.) While that amplifier has two in puts it only has one out put.. If you hook up two radios to it it will mix the sounds of both radios into one sound and that sound will be a garbled mess of a combination of what both radios are playing. You would need two of those amplifier to play two, separate sounds.

And then there's impedance. It's kind of a measure of how easy it is for electricity to flow through a speaker. Most any amplifier wants to see between 8 and 16 ohms of impedance. Less and the amplifier will overheat (to much electricity) and burn out. More (to hard to push the sound through the speakers) and the speakers won't sound loud enough.

When hooking multiple sets of speakers to an amplifier they have to be wired up in such a way the the amp "sees" 8-16 ohms of resistance.

Here's a simple example of the difference between series and parallel speaker wiring. Wiring up more than two sets of speakers just makes the calculations a little more complicated.

Two used stereo receivers (not just amplifiers, as you need pre-amps too), and whatever speakers suit your fancy.

Just make sure that the receivers have in puts that match whatever out puts you're getting from the internet radios you choose.

One computer running 2 internet radios -> two usb DAC's -> 1 amp per DAC (2 total) -> 5 speakers per amp (10 total) should give you control of both from the one computer

If you intend to play the same thing on both radios, but just change the volume level on some of the speakers you could just add a volume control (rheostat) to turn down some of them. Heck,. you could add a volume control to every speaker if you wanted to. Perhaps a 4 channel home theater set up with the front speaker amp powering one set of speakers and the rear channel amps powering another set and then adjust the volume levers of the front and rear to be different..

I'm coming at you question "have 2 internet radios and one amp" from my music playback experience. But that's kind of like asking:
Is there an oven that can cook at two different temperature at the same time?
Is there a car that can go forwards and backwards at the same time?
Is there a man that can be president, unite the country, and be a total goof ball?

Perhaps someone else will chime in that has knowledge about music production where multi channel amps/pre-amps are common.

You really dont need a lot of power when it comes to playing moderate sound levels.

Two of these, one for each zone.

https://www.amazon.com/SMSL-50Wx2-TDA7492-Amplifier-Adapter/dp/B00F0H8TOC/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1512078645&sr=1-3&keywords=smsl

Then you need a Load Balancer

https://www.amazon.com/Niles-SSVC-6-Speaker-Selector/dp/B00020H2MW/ref=sr_1_5?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1512078695&sr=1-5&keywords=speaker+selector+volume

or

https://www.amazon.com/Theater-Solutions-TS6DV-Selector-Controls/dp/B00K2GAZI4/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1512078760&sr=1-7&keywords=speaker+selector+volume

These will allow you to use a lot of speakers on a single amp, it does this by balancing the load.

I do the same thing in my house, but instead of volume controls on the speaker selector I have in wall volume control knobs in each room. Stereo is always playing music, and I just turn the knob to let sound come play out the speakers. I use a Yamaha Network Stereo Receiver, so I can control it from my phone. Nice for changing inputs. My Stereo Volume never changes, I keep it at 0db (which would be pretty loud if it wasn't for the in wall speaker control knobs). I have 4 zones, two speakers each. And a 5th one will be installed at some point.

I would also consider a Stereo Network Receiver with dual zones for the primary amp. But the Second zone will most likely be RCA and will require a little amp like I listed above.
