since the dedicated g.skill x399 4x8gig kits seem to be sold out every where what would you guys suggest as the best case scenario for my TR build over this holiday? ( i use it for gaming and streaming) any one have any suggestions under 700~ US

current rig details:
CPU: AMD Threadripper 1920x
Cooler: Enermax 240 tr4 aio
Memory: 16Gb G.Skill Ripjaws 4 3200 Timing 16-16-16-36 ( xmp worked for 16 not 32gig)
Hard Drive: Samsung 960 Pro 512Gb
Video Card: ASUS Radeon R9 390X (will be upgrading soon, holding out for deals for b-friday/cybermonday)
MoBo: ASRock TaiChi x399
Power Supply: Rosewill PHOTON Series 1200W

this is what i already own. i was looking at the teamgroup xtreeem 4000ghz but id have to buy 2x 2x8 kits and idk how my luck would pan out with that. they are samsung b die. what kits have you guys used?

I have Gskill 3200 cas 14 16gb*4 kit.

You can try the Corsair dominator Torque. should be B-die and its only 459$ at corsair.com (550 at newegg, they might price match?)

i was checking those out, and i must say im admittedly new to overclocking memory, and the closest items on the asrock qvl are the dominator platinum, which only oc to 3000, and not as good timings as the g.skills. :/

I owned those dominators, the 3000C15 on the MSI they could not even do 2800mhz. Mine were Hynix based (Thaiphoon burner checked the SPD)

Any B-die should be about capable of similar clocks. My Gskill takes more than 1.35v in both the MSI X399 and in the Zenith Extreme. Very small changes in DRAM and SOC voltages make huge differences in my stability.

Don't think you can just buy some 3200 C14 gskills and throw them in and be 100% stable and done. I am running 16gb dimms, so I am sure that is part of the problem, but my CPU just will not clock them higher than about 3200, even if I try to run CAS 18.

Those look like both great kits!

If you go to the Zenith Extreme Memory QVL, it lists many 4*8gb kits up to 3600 speed.

The 3200 Cas 14 Gskills are B-die and might overclock even up to 3600 if you get lucky. I think you will be happy with those! (it does depend a little on your CPU memory controller quality)
