Hi.

I have very little knowledge when it comes to overclocking, but since I was experiencing low fps (~50) in Player Unknowns Battlegrounds, I wanted to play around with OC´ing my (already pre-OC´ed) ASUS Strix GTX 970.
I´ve tried both MSI Afterburner and the ASUS GPU Tweak, and the results are the same; without any OC I get an ~900 score in Unigine Valley Benchmark 1.0. When applying settings I get an amazing ~2500 score (don´t know how that is even possible)! But when I go ingame in pubg, my FPS is as low as it has always been. So am I missing something here?

The OC settings I go with is:
GPU Boost clock: 1400
Max GPU Voltage: 1210
Memory clock: 7800
Power target: 0120
GPU Temp target: 0080

Thank you in advance!

Ummm, mine does 144fps in certain spots on 1440p everything low except view distance ultra.
Averages around 110fps on latest update with drops to 70fps in spots.
Does exactly the same on 1080 res, The game is CPU limited more then GPU limited.
Running my CPU at stock vs at 4.6ghz makes a world of difference.

Stock clocks (3.6ghz) im lucky to see 100fps and get drops to 40fps.
Havnt tested if the quad channel and 2800mhz 10,10,10 ram timings make much difference.

Yeah. I should've mention depending on what location. A few of my friends play with a 1080 Ti and they complain about dropping in cities like Yasnaya due to low FPS.
