Hey, I bought a GPU support bracket Ill be using for my build. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076GYL25H/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I want to remove the logo in the middle. I think the metal is aluminum. Not sure how I should go about it. I just want the logo gone, but I don't want to ruin the color of the metal.

cant us just turn it upside down and instead of using gpu screws to hold it in place use the ones below it instead? unless its printed both sides... looking at amazon listing cant see any reason why that wouldnt work

That's a good suggestion, I went ahead and put it on and it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. ;p. Still would like to know how to remove it though.

Are you sure it’s not a sticker?

I’m 99% sure it’s not, but you put that 1% doubt in my mind. I’ll have to check when I’m home again.

If the metal is not painted you can use a paintstripper. I personally have used one called citristrip on aluminum as it was a bit less toxic than the alternatives.

You would pretty much just put some on, let it sit for an hour and the paint will bubble/ flake off.

Either way, acetone should take it off without damaging the anodized finish.
