S340 Elite speci says 161mm CPU clearance, so lots of coolers will fit in case. But what motherboard you have, what PCIe sockets you will use and what the height of RAM you plan to use are all part of determining what cooler can be used.

While your temps may be 'comparable' your noise levels and dependability are vastly inferior. This has been proven over and over by other like Cyph3r above and by people who use custom loops, test and use air coolers on only test CLCs because of their noise. Ask ciarlatano

not really I'm using Noctua fans on my Kraken X62 which is quiet and I've set up a fan curve depending on cpu temps (which runs really cool to begin with after I Delidded my 8700k)and the fan on my EVGA 1080 Ti Hybrid is a corsair SP120 quiet edition fan as well which I have tweaked the fan speed and have set up a custom fan curve for it too (used the cpu header)
the pumps on AIO's are pretty much inaudible these days the only thing that makes noise in the system are the fans. this pc is SOOO QUIET i love it lol
I know using non-stock fans for both AIO's on the cpu and gpu defeats the purpose esp price:eprformance but I already had them before building the pc

Yes really. I'm betting your present 1x fan on GPU rad and 2x on X62 are intake with 3+ exhaust vents with /without fans. This would mean all radiator intake air is room temp. .. but that's just a guess.
As I said before, it has been proven time and again that when upper-middle to top tier air coolers receive the same temp air as CLC's they cool as well as CLC's with lower noise levels.
The Asetek pump has almost no changes from original releast ump-teen years ago.

@doyll, sorry, but there is no arguing with unicorn eggs. A setup like this can usually run a good 20 degrees below ambient. Magic gnomes live in the rad tubes making ice. It is not only silent, it actually absorbs noise from around it.
Most profesionals don't like CLC's one length fits none hosing (white hosing only stand out more in our cases, but if you think it looks great that fine.
This is what I did with my coolers. Stock fans on aios are pretty crap. Custom fan curve and I don't hear them over the crapy asetek pump on my kraken g12 but even that isn't bad.

I tried out an AIO cooler. Never again. I couldn't sleep with my computer running because the pump was so damn loud. I could also hear the pump through my headset. Can't say the same about the fans I have in my system. Good thing it stopped cooling my CPU after less than a month from being installed or I might still be putting up with that noise.
Correct! I tried an AIO out of curiosity (Kraken X62) and while I loved the aesthetics, I hated the overall experience, and the temps were "meh" at best.
I've now swapped it out for an NH-D15S and I'm happy again!

TO BE FAIR, the latest version has a guest mode and the only check that it does (supposedly) is what version of the CAM software you're currently using.
Still though, i agree, it was garbage and I didn't want to use it. I wanted to connect the pump to my AIO header, run the pump at 100% permanently and then run the rad fans off the CPU header. but nope.
