U.2 boot drive, dual M.2 RAID storage drives?

I'm building a new system, top of the line, best I can buy, custom liquid cooling, and I'm building this system for 2 reasons. First off I want the ultimate gaming system, I was super fast load speeds, super fast and excellent graphics, no load lag, I want to the baddest of the baddest gaming experience possible but secondly, and mainly, I am building something to show off my abilities, skills, and hardware capabilities. I am getting into case modding, and overclocking, and I want something I can display and show off to attract attention to my name and reputation as a system builder. Anyways, as part of my learning experience and because this is one of the biggest, and baddest projects I have taken on I have some questions.

I just bought the Asus ROG Rampage VI Extreme MB and I am trying to decide what direction I want to go when it comes to SSDs. My MB has 1 U.2 connector, and up to 3 M.2 connectors. I was thinking I could get an Intel 750 drive for my OS boot drive and use 2 M.2 SSDs in a RAID 0 set up for installing all my games and applications so they load and write super fast. Is that something I should consider or does anyone have any better suggestions for better performance.

Im not to worried about storage because I have a RAID NAS storage device on my home network that I have connected to my 10GB/s ASUS network adapter so anything I need to store such as media is a whole different subject

Also on my MB I have 1 M.2 slot in between the lower PCI slots and 2 M.2 slots are located on a adapter card that is inserted into a DIMM.2 slot to the right of the memory slots which also has an adapter that allows you to install a fan onto the DIMM.2 dual M.2 SSD card to cool the SSDs. When using a M.2 SSD should I just use the slot in between the PCI slots or should I use the DIMM.2 adapter card?

I originally wanted to run a RAID 0 set up with 2 intel 750 U.2 drives but I only have 1 U.2 adapter on my board and I wasn't to fond of using an M.2 to U.2 adapter card because if the minimal space between my GPUs and because I don't think it looks very well.

Anyway it seems like you have somewhat of an Idea what I am going for, and what I am working with so what suggestions do you have for me. Remember, I am learning. I know computers, hardware more then software, but I am by no means a computer genius but I've build many systems over my years and have taught everything I know so far myself though years of reading, asking questions, and trial and error. I appreciate any ideas and suggestions you have and am willing to try anything that is going to look good and perform superbly.

Also on another note, I don't know much about ASUSs VROC PCIe 3.0 x16 M.2 card, so if that is something I should look into for my RAID 0 set up, let me know and I would love to learn more and consider that option. Anything you can inform me about this piece of hardware and how much better if any the performance is.

Thanks,
Z

Thanks for all your input, I've learned so much from all your great ideas...

Did I ask a stupid question or something? I figured I would get some kind of response but I guess not. Thanks anyways, hope I get more help in the future with any other problems or questions that I may come across during my build and learning process.
