Describe your problem. List any error messages and symptoms. Be descriptive.
Yesterday I finally decided to go ahead with the win10 creator's fall update, restart, go play some overwatch and midgame my pc just stops(thought my power went off but not the case), after a few seconds it starts booting up on it's own but only the cpu/gpu fans work and gpu lights, however the case fans don't work .
While powered on the monitor is black (no signal detected) keyboard and mouse leds are off, hdd light on top of case is off.
Also I don't think I hear a beep so I don't think it is even POSTing, and
The DRAM_LED doesn't turn on so I assume it's also not a problem with the RAM sticks, or nothing that obvious.
List anything you've done in attempt to diagnose or fix the problem.
Power off, including the switch, hold down power button for 30secs to reset RAM.
Reseated GPU(even moved it to another slot), reseated both RAM sticks. Can't test my PSU since I don't have the required equipment. Can't swap the CPU either since I don't have another (also would hate to go through this hassle).
Tried connecting the monitor to the onboard graphics port with no success.
Also checked running temps a week ago, everything seemed fine. Also no stuttering while playing so no indication that my CPU was running too hot.
Provide any additional details you wish below.
Any way I can test my PSU/CPU without any equipment such as a voltmeter ? My guess is it's one of those..
Parts should still be in warranty so if there isn't anything else I could try, I will send it to the shop.
