A case that "eats" large surface radiators but is not a meter high monster

I need a case that can accommodate larger radiators, 420/480/560/600, two if possible, but it is not a huge unmanagable show-off case, but rather a fat and long one.
A case that goes long and wide (base) instead of high is great.

I'm running Enthoo Elite now, but it's just unmanageable for my 2nd system or this one anyway. I need to cool an overclocked 7980XE and 3 GPUs, while maintaining silence or rather quietness. I need radiator surface for that.
Ideally, a very long Define R6 would work wonders too, just nobody makes cases deep (long), and not tall at the same time (for some reason I can't decipher). It's like manufacturers don't understand there are customers aiming for performance & silence, not only performance.

What are my options except for going for R6 and just drilling pipe holes on it to mount radiators on - a desk.

Thanks.

The SMA8-A isn't THAT much smaller than your Enthoo:

SMA8 dimensions: (284mm x 568mm x 570mm)
Entho Prime dimensions: (270 mm x 750 mm x 615 mm)

If you added a pedestal, the SMA8 would be just as big.

It's an amazing case, but if you're looking to downsize, the SMA8 doesn't really fit the bill.

If you really want quiet, then you want to aim for maximum surface area for your rads.

Ideally you would want to opt for 560mm rads rather than 480's especially with your 3 GPUs..

If you are handy with a jigsaw - you can modify an SMA8 so that it will easily accept a 560 rad in the top compartment.

From this:

To this:

This will provide you with 2x 560's in the SMA8 and also allow you to add a pedestal if required.

You could squeeze another 2x 560's in the pedestal if really required...!

I run 3x 560's in my SMA8 which allows me to run my fans at a sublime 600rpm....

two or three 560s is where it's at. I agree with Costas. SMA8 with atleast two 560s but I might be a bit biased.

You guys keep missing the point that he wants to downsize.

The SMA8 doesn't fit the bill for downsizing. Adding a pedestal to the SMA8 would actually make it larger than his current case.

Or get the smaller case you want and run a MO-RA or external rad setup?

If you're looking to downsize, you sacrifice overall rad surface. So go big and cram a gazillion rad or downsize and do an external rad setup.

Pick one or the other IMO.

If you choose a Fractal Define S, you can get a lot of surface area and still maintain a reasonable system size.

TOP - 420x30
FRONT - 360x55 or so, thicker might interfere with top rad unless you do bottom fittings for 360 rad.
REAR - 140x < insert any thickness >

You can do a bottom 140mm rad, but a 120 is easier. I have an EVGA 850 Supernova G2, and a 140mm fan fits just fine down there. 120mm would give you slightly more clearance.

$80 case usually, and has fantastic cable management, and a lot of pump and reservoir mounting options.

3xHDD 3.5 and 2x SSD 2.5 mounting in back of case, out of the main area.

I love it. The option for a side 140mm fan keeps my GPU's very happy

Yes, having a cake and eating it too. :) Not the easiest. External rad mounting could be a solution, maybe some test bench case...

Case-Labs TX10 is your best case for large amount of radiators. Case-Labs only does limited runs for that case now(I would E-Mail them and ask if they do a custom order for the case if you want it). THW10 is the next best option which allows 4x560 radiators + plus you can add more 560 rads with the pedestal.
