wow .. +12V1 2 3 4 all at 16 amps, thats like 64A! zalman makes high quality things and i've never really had any problems with their products. although i've never tried their PSUs before i'd trust it enough to give it a try...

You can't add up amps per rail to equal total amps, they arn't distributed nearly as efficiently as that.

I wouldn't trust the PSU until some good reviews surface.

i'm planning to get a "evga 8800 gs superclocked 320mb" and i was wondering if this would support just a single one. dont think i need to go sli just yet. i've read around and supposedly some of those 8800's require at least 450w and something like 30amps...psu seems to not put out enough current but i see that some people use this psu with their 8800.

i've looked around for some reviews and its actually got some pretty good reviews from here as well as jonnyguru.net

*just checked evga.com...vid card req asks for 400w and 26amps
i dont understand how psus work but does that mean its asking for 26amps from just one of the 12v rails? cause if it is, the zalman has four 12v rails at 16a each and probably wouldnt work
