also not a WD fan at all...
Well to start, you and Chozart seem to think that the PSU i selected isn't the best, so i will reconcider that area.... however check the egg here http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16817153039 111 reviews 83% 5 eggs, also the best PSU that i have seen in terms of satisfaction. A "real" mobo, what exactly do you mean by that? I concider the one i have selected and the P5B deluxe to be 2 of the best MOBOs on the market, I didn't select it because of a bundle deal, I just concider the eVGA products to be the best on the market right now.... my preference. You should try reading a few reviews about this mobo. preferably this one http://www.pcper.com/article.php?type=expert&aid=320 which caused me to make this my pick, also check the egg here http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813188013 80% 5 egg reviews, it has the highest satisfaction rating out of any other boards i have checked, and I concider the fact that only 21 people have reviewed it to be a bonus not a negative, simply because it's expensive, and people can geta P5B deluxe for much cheaper. and about WD HHDs, I have always used them, and never have had a problem... I also just realized that I have a 250 GB SATA WD HDD that I will use with another 2 in RAID 0 to give me 750GB.

Chozart... I have been dying to have advice between theese 2 ram chips.... which is better... I literaly have spent over 20 hours reading reviews and trying to find out which are better.

G.Skill PC6400 3-3-4-5
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231114

G.Skill PC6400 4-4-4-12
http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231065

I know the 4-4-4-12 ram has Micron D9 chips, and the 3-3-4-5 does not, however upon reading reviews, they both can acheive over DDR2 1000 speeds, I just can't figure out why ram with 3-3-4-5 timings is 40$ cheaper then RAM with 4-4-4-12 timings... can anyone for the love of god please help me with this... this is the last remaining barrier I have before having my complete system choice.

Because the Micron IC's are more expensive That something has tighter timings does not necesarilly mean that it should be more expensive.

Honestly, either kit will work fine, and there is at least one user that has both, and he indeed confirms that both kits overclock well. Of course, the HZ kit (black) with the Microns is the more proven set of the two, but that's just because it's longer on the market.

Save the money, get the HK.

Is the Windows Vista OEM you have listed a full version?
Can you just do a clean install on a new hd and your good to go or do you have to have XP or something to upgrade from ?
I thought I'd ask because I'm getting ready to do a C2D build and I would like to go with Vista.

OEM = full version (unless there is something like an upgrade OEM, but I'd be very surprised)

It's for system builders (like Dell, HP, Sony,.,,,and well. us )
Licensing is a bit more limited than with the normal retail version.

Not trying to hijack but I just have one more question in regards to the OEM Vista.
I read the OEM licensing and it doesn't say much about upgrading hardware which most of us do on a monthly bases almost.Would there be a problem as opposed to using a non OEM version?
