since the ps3 is supposed to be revealed this week, several sites are reporting some mockups while others are saying that they are closer to real... its fun to see regardless

heh, Consoles, all the same, but different game developers on every one of them. I just stick with PC and my handy emulator. When I wanna go play some multi Halo 2, I walk across the street. I only own a ps2 because my sister wanted one, then changed her mind once she broke it, lol.

you play emulated console games? I can't imagine that Ps2 and xbox games run well on the PC, seeing as how n64 emulators blew.

Reminds me of an old-fashioned AM radio, but in a nice piano black finish. Is the PS3 really going to support UMD discs? I didn't know that. Why bother? Is it going to be compatible with PSP games or something?

Writing that, I realized why I think this picture is probably a fake. I doubt that the design would include two separate optical drives, one for Blu-Ray and another for UMD. It would drive the cost way up. I have to think that, if they were going to support two disc formats, they would design it in such a way that a single laser could read both types of discs.

Speculation is fun.
