It will not raise the NB voltage.. It will change the NB frequency..
default multi / selected multi x fsb = NB frequency.
default 9 / selected 8 x 400 = 450mhz NB
default 9 / selected 9 x 400 = 400mhz NB
default 9 / selected 7 x 400 = 514mhz NB
hope that makes sense.. just use that formula.. I would think the lower the multi the harder the NB will have to work at higher FSBs.. So 8x is as low as I go, I can't post 400x6 as it is not stable very long..
