Eh, the desktops would be to cramped to really do much IMO. Would be better to just get 2 monitors

I was wondering that ... would this software work with a dual monitor setup? because honestly, sharing a 15" screen with someone else would suck!

imo this kinda thing should be done on a bios level. basically we already got quad cores and 4 ram slots and sli so the savings would be on case/psu/mobo

would take some redesigning of things (stuff like standby for one while other os still running etc) shouldnt be to hard. trick the gfx card or cards into thinking the other one is already in use and cant be used. forcing it to use only the one or one half a card. (same applies for the ram/cpu in the basic sense.)

think of it this way. bios level = more stable M$ way well u know. lol. if doing it M$ way and the software freezes.... both computers loose their work. (in a job thats not good) if the os freezes with the bios way only that one freezes (unless u get bsod or something bad like that....)

but this is all imo...

that's retarded...lol. Defn a value thing...

Would be better if you got one of those virtualization box thingers that let's you plug in another monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and speakers...then you can both have all you need and share the same computer...

This is almost useless....

Yeah seriously... Get VMware, throw a few virtual machines up on a decent computer, and it'll work fine.
