Guys, I have a question: So far I've submitted 3 benchmarks (3DMark Vantage, 3DMark11 and SuperPi32M) and for each I got 0.1 point. Am I doing something wrong or is it normal to only get 0.1 point?

Generally the very popular categories require a very good overclock to grab points. Have a look at HWBOT for those around the same clocks as yours to see how they are doing at the same speed. Or push your gear harder, 24/7 stability is not usually needed for most of the benchmarks. Also there are number of guides floating around for how to tweak for specific benchmarks that add those last bunch of points.

WC_EEND, you also have to make sure your submissions adhere to the rules - for example, your 3D11 score requires two CPU-Z windows in the screenshot as well, showing CPU and memory tabs to verify your CPU.

A lot of the high end point scores (2pts and above) are usually set on virgin, stripped systems - fresh clean OS, correct drivers, so nothing can affect the score. Then, the hardware is tweaked and overclocked until it is barely stable to run the test. On the limit of the overclock (dependant on hardware itself, processor, cooling), a good competitive score should be highly favourable for your CPU and GPU clocks.

So your 3D11 score on the 560Ti was 93rd out of 106. 3D11 is CPU and GPU dependant - so on a fresh installed system, crank up the CPU to 5 GHz+, and some more on the GPU, and you may be hitting at least position 50-60, if not more. The only downside is, that that is still probably only worth 0.1 pts. This game, this sport, is always about learning what is and isn't possible, in terms of the overclock and the scoring system. Hence why it's a little tricky to just 'bench your main PC' and hope for some high scores, especially when we're all super competitive.

But we're all here to help whenever you need it smile.gif

When I went into the graphics benchmark section, and check 3DMark11, there's no 'rules' there, just download and website.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, I'll probably just grab a small (60-ish GB) SSD for that, because I really don't feel like reinstalling my main OS over and over again.

Thing is, I'm also somewhat conservative with my OC'ing because I really don't feel like having to replace my CPU/GPU because I fried it. I'm also fully aware that unless I switch to a more extreme cooling method (LN2, etc) I probably won't get past 5.2 GHz on my CPU. The things I'm afraid of most of all is killing my CPU by pushing too much volts through it (currently 4.7GHz stable at 1.384V) and killing my GPU with too much volts because it only has 4+1VRM. Still, I'm sure I can push both harder than where they are currently at.

A lot of people start of benching there main system but as they start enjoying benchmarking they tend to build systems just for benching so if something breaks it sucks, but need to realize it's a possibility.

All of Borandi's scores have been achieved on either air or water. LN2 is not the be all and end all of benching. There are a number of ways to contribute solid points to a team.
