Reccomend me a firewall

Thread Starter
Hi all, Ive tried and used zonealarm pro, didnt like it much. Ive also tried norton and mcaffe with the same respect. I am currently using agnitum outpost that I like, but am fed up having to keep paying every year to use it. So what would you guys reccomend and why? If theres a good free one other than zonealarm or the obvious windows firewall, please let me know. Thanks.

Lol, I was about to say ZoneAlarm too.

Sorry man, tried numerous ones a long while and for the past 5 years, ZA has my vote. Give in to the DARK SIDE..

Well I just installed comodo to give that a try. My complaint with zonealarm, and it happens on my moms comp too is that not all images will load, I get the red x where the image should be. I worked with zonealarm to try and resolve this without sucess. But switching to agnitum completely solved this issue, but I dont like having to pay to recieve the updates. So far comodo seems to run good, will have to test it for a while and see how many spyware hits I recieve using it. As with the agnitum all I recieved was the usual tracking cookies and no severe ad/spyware. So ill let you all know how this firewall performs, plus what Im loving so farr is it uses half the ram that agnitum did. But thanks for trying guys.
