Intel boy needs to overclock TForce550 - Page 2

2.2 on stock cooling is fine. I was at 2.8 on stock cooling and vcore with load temps of 44c.

Stock cooling

FSB 300 mhz
HT Multi X 3 (keep it under a 1000, 300 x 3 = 900)

If you want 2.2, you can use the Biorfoce auto overclock (V12) and it'll be around 2.15 to 2.2 (forgot which exactly)

I wouldnt use the auto OC feature as it will raise your vcore unnecessarily.

Even if I am only going to 2.2?

And that being said... can I auto OC then change the vcore back to stock?

Yes,the V12 setting give you like 2.3 and raises vcore to over 1.5 which is way to high. I'd go 233x9.5 keep vcore at 1.325 stock. I dont think you can auto OC and then just change vcore back because you have to change it back to manual OC which defaults everything. Are you running ddr2 667 or 800? 233x9.5,HT x 4, Divider at 533, will give you 2.2 and like 316 on your ram if your running ddr2 667

Ok then, dont use the divider and your good @366mhz on your ram. Or you could always run
253x9.5
HT x 4
This would give you 2.4 which should be fine on stock volts/cooling and your ram would be running full speed @400mhz

i just gave him the idea of auto if he couldn't figure out how to manually do it.

I agree to set the vcore around 1.3 and fsb 233
