antec 900 vs. centurion 5

How does the airflow compare in both of these cases? Is it worth all the extra money to get the 900?
It glows ^_^

I prefer the Antec 900 over the Centurion 5 for looks and for air flow.

Both are better in the 900.

I like my Centurion 5 but I am adding case fans to it. I don't like the Honda Civic ricey look of the antec. =\\ Or anything that glows, pretty much. That's just me.

Antec 900 will have MUCH better air flow. The Centurion 5 is just a standard case...the 900 would own it. I think it's worth the money if you have a high end rig. Otherwise unless you want the better looks, it would be kinda pointless to get it.

I own the centurion 5. As far as im concerned , the centurion 5 is decent as far as airflow , its got modders mesh for basically the whole front , you can add a 120mm fan there if you wanted to save money .

The antec 900 wouldnt be a bad investment though , its got 2 fans included and they have blue LEDs . From what i have seen the antec's 2 fans are only quiet when they are on the lowest setting.

over all it depends if you want to put that saved money towards components and better your computer experiance.

After all , the computers performance wont change from case to case. At least not by a lot.

If you're low on money get the centurion 5.
Great case.
Keeps my cpu at 30º with stock fan at 1100rpm.
ANd it's easy to mod.
Doesn't have much space tough, and only 3 hd cages(i'm runnig out of space...)

Get the 900 (I thought it came with 4 fans 2front, 1back 1top???) but make sure you get the 2nd version, the first had some issues with DVI ports on graphics cards or something. There shouldn't be any 1st gen doing the rounds now but you never know.

I personally think the Antec 900 is one of the ugliest cases I have ever seen in my life. I like the nice look of Lian Li.

You can get a Lian Li PC-7B Plus II for 107$ with a side window from Xpcgear.com. 120mm front and back fans, 80mm blowhole at the top, sleek, clean, aluminum, very aesthetically pleasing case.

I have the Centurion as well. Its a great case and airflow is impressive. You get a 120mm exhaust fan as well as an 80mm intake. The whole front is mesh so you can add more fans if you would like.

My main turn-off to the 900 is that I think it looks ridiculous. If you have the money to burn and you like the looks, the 900 will give you better airflow, but whether or not you need that extra airflow is another question.

EDIT:I am also impressed with the thickness and sturdy feel of the Centurion

I like the look of the 900, it looks different in person than in pictures for some reason.
