Hi all,

Newb here wondering how to get my 1:1 ratio if my MOBO is this
and my RAM timings are here on Everest.

Why not leave it as is. Since your RAM is faster than the CPU, that only improves performance.

You should just set the RAM speed at DDR2 533 in BIOS to achieve 1:1

PS: turn off Speedstep... it hurts to see an underclocked CPU like that

should be in the bios as either 1:1 option or maybe like mine 2.00 is 1:1 and 4.00 is 1:2

That's Intels speedstep, it has to be disabled for overclocking like mentioned above.

To keep your memory running 1 on 1 with the cpu, the P5B bios will let you select twice the FSB speed when you select a memory speed. So at 266FSB 533mhz, and at 333FSB 667mhz. If you are going to stay at stock cpu speed, you can select a faster memory speed.

Note that DDR RAM is double the Mhz. So if you have 400FSB, then 800Mhz RAM will be 1:1. And if 450FSB, 900Mhz RAM is needed for 1:1.

I set my CPU at 266 and my DRAM Frequency to DDR2 533 and Im still showing up as underclocked?
Why?
What else should I change?
