What anti-virus/ spyware and adware programs have you tried?
The ones I recommend on using are,
AVG Anti-Viris
Ad-Aware SE Personal
Spybot Search and Destory

You can easily get these at www.download.com Just input those names on the search bar.

Trojan-backdoor-5sec is a Dialer. I hope you are not on dial-up.

They can't remove them? Have you tried booting onto Safe Mode to scan?

Try installing a few anti-virus programs, like Grisoft AVG. That's one of my favorites. You should also install anti-spy- and ad-ware programs, as some of them remove other malware as well. Try Lavasoft Ad-aware. Both AVG and Ad-aware have free versions. A last resort is always to reformat.

Yeah I vote for avg also, once my mom got a trojan that her norton couldnt get rid of, I uninstalled norton and put on avg free. Needless to say it got rid of it first time, and she has been using avg ever since.

You might have to shut off system restore, Trojans often hide there too!. I had a stubborn trojan that I had to stop system restore or it would replicate itself

I use NOD32 Anti-Virus and 4 other programs for spyware.

Adaware
Spybot S&D
SpywareBlaster
SuperAntiSpyware

SuperAntiSpyware updates their definitions very often. I would run that then go into safe mode and run it again.

LOL I was expecting an OT thread about raincoats.
I use bit defender and I never have viruses.
