Ok, downloaded TAT and here's what I've got:

Idle temps:

Load temps:

So about 20-22C at idle and around 40C at load. Also, thermostat says its about 66F in my room, so that's about 19C ambient. Overall, I'm pretty happy
post #12 of 27
man I wish my room was 66F !! it doesnt even get that low in the winter. T-T

My room is 82F right now, gets up to almost 90F when my machine is on and benching.

well im home for the summer (college student), and my parents keep the house like a freakin icebox. at school, my AC sucks, and the afternoon sun hits my room hard. usually around 85F in the summer and its hit 95F before. I'd say my computer likes it here better.

All Hail the TR Ultra Extreme

Bump that ambient up around 26°c and see what you get, that's about the average temp for people.

just bumped up my FSB and now I'm running at 3.2 Ghz. Not too much of a temp change. I think I like my new toy

Idle temps at 3.2:

Load temps at 3.2:

So now I'm at about 20-22C idle, 44C load and thats in about 19C ambient.

That is impressive to say the least.

Are you planning on lapping or are you happy enough with the results?

Can you do me a favor quick and run Orthos with 1.5 vCore? A lot of newer chips require lots of voltage to run stable. Mine needs 1.45 to get to 3.5 stable and I'm curious how it compares to the Tuniq.

If I go higher, and get unstable, what's the highest I can up my voltage to? I want to get at least 3.4 Ghz
post #19 of 27
Most people stay below 1.5v.
That's insanely low. U_U; I'm jealous.
