An inexpensive Motherboard.

Thread Starter
Hi. I am really considering just upgrading the insides of my old eMachines W2888 instead of buying a whole new system. Leaves me more money to play with right? Right! Well I was thinking of an E6320.. 2GB RAM.. 8800GTS 320MB and I wanted to know is the Asus P5B (Yes the regular P5B) a good overclocking board.. or do you know of an inexpensive board that can hit at least 3.0Ghz with the E6320..

What budget are you working with?

The Ultra Extreme 120 is the best cooler on the market right now. It's about the same price as a Tuniq and a little more with a high CFM fan.

Yeah I like the 9700 doesn't seem to big.. What is the name of that case fan that pushes like.. 70 or 90CFM and it's like $20 each?

Budget is $1,000 so far it's:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 (Going to overclock to 3.0Ghz)
2GB G.SKILL HZ Memory
160GB Hard Drive (Won't even fill it up so don't worry about it)
Gigabyte DS3
Zalman 9700 (With Artic Silver 5 of course)
Foxconn 8800GTS (Factory Overclocked to 575/1800Mhz)
600W Cooler Master Power Supply
And that powerfull 120mm Case Fan when I figure out what it was..

And my trusty eMachines W2888 case.

Question. Is the emachines system stock PSU currently? If so, then I highly suggest changing it.
