Quick question, AS5 > or < naked? - Page 2

Use AS5 AND run it naked for optimal temperature. I do it on my other rig.

On his rig I run naked and use Cool Labs Liquid Metal.

A guy fried his naked Opty here a few months ago gooping to much on it...If it gets on the PCB around the core it can bridge the gaps between the little capacitors...

I remember there were experiments made here a few months ago about the conductivity of Arctic Silver, and its conclusions were that although they DO conduct, they don't conduct enough to make enough damage.

But maybe I'm wrong. Can't find the thread though
