SLi Doesn't Work When Running 3DMark01SE In Vista

Everybody should already be aware that current drivers Vista drivers are a few frames behind in most applications when compared to XP and this will reflect in your scores when useing 3DMark. Though 3DMark01SE seems to suffer from the largest performance drop as I'm averageing 48000 with a single 8800GTS 640MB in Vista compared to my previous 55000 with a single 7950GX2 in XP.

After a little testing of my own I've come to the conclusion that Nvidia's SLi doesn't work at all in 3DMark01SE. Infact, it actually lowered my score by a couple of thousand so I suggest to anyone trying to get on the top 30 boards here to disable SLi when running 3DMark01SE.

Vista + 8-series SLI = Not too hot. Blame the immature drivers.

Everything else seems to function fine, my benchmarks on the top 30 board average a couple of thousand lower than what they'd be on XP but all the SLi compatible games I own see improvement with SLi enabled. I'm thinking that it may be an issue with running a DirectX 8.1 application in Vista.
