Help: need to lower gpu and cpu temps.

Thread Starter
Things are running REAL hot, my 7900gs xt with the Zalman VF cu 700 cooler on medium runs at 50 degrees at idle, and stock speeds!!! that is way too hot. CPU temp..... do not even get me there.

Now, I have no money, but could obtain some if I beg my mother. I am thinking of 1) a small A/C unit. 2) lots and lots of fans (but that will obviously increase the DBA (no, cannot have that) or 3) take it like a man and let artifacts and major slowdowns not bother me.....

Now, I have no idea were to go out and purchase a good A/C unit, one that is small and fairly cheap. Any suggestions?

If you got other cooling idea's, then please post them here.

Thanks!

50c idle for the 7900 is ok lower would be better but your ok, dont want to go up around 85c load if possible, as for cpu remover overclock is sugested in the summer temps i ended up doing that my self on water cooling and im still loading around 50c in TAT with both cores going.
