First of all that 535 dollar processor you have listed there is gonna be selling for about 266 real soon. So youll be able to save a few bucks there.

With the cash saved there Id get some better ram. Try these
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231065
For 2 2x1gig kits your looking at only 240 for killer ram. D9 chips and much much better timings. 4-4-4-12 vs a pathetic 5-6-6-18.

Id also change the video card from a GTS 640 to a GTX 768.

Dont think that power supply is gonna be sufficient for your setup. This is what I would buy.
Antec True Power Trio TP3-650 ATX12V 650W

I'd get this PSU:

CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply

Pricey, but worth the money.

And yes, get 2GB of good RAM, and an 8800GTX.

I've heard a date of July 22 for the price drp on the Q6600... I'd definately wait.

In that case, get the 640, and a motherboard that runs x16, x16 in SLI mode. Th Gigabyte runs x8, x8 in SLI mode....
