well, the only OTHER solution, other than connecting it to the PC that is turned on THE LONGEST during the day and sharing it on the network, is placing it near the computer that is OFF the most and swapping cables between it and the printer. whoever uses that computer would have to be disciplined to plug it in whenever they are not online though..
Other choice? Visit your local newsgroups on GOOGLE.COM and look at who's selling modems, there should be a few and you can make another network on your internet network
, or use one of the routers as a bridge so it wont have to give it an ip adress.
