Everything else is perfect! Boots and shuts down faster than XP and runs a lot smoother and faster.
That's how I've found it as well. I love Vista.
I had to reinstall a number of times (MORE THAN THREE
) but had no intall key problems. Was getting BSOD's like it was going out of style. Finally discovered that my overclock was causing the BSOD's. I backed off the mhz about 55 mhz and turned up the voltage to my RAM, and TADA, I've been running great.
Someone who was running a more standard configuration than I am would have had no problems.
I work in Vista all the time now. People that knock the RAM usage & Readyboost etc should use Vista and experience the new RAM handling. Very smooth user experience. Should see my photoshop launch time in Vista compared to XP.
But hey, you don't like it, don't get it. XP is still all over the place.
