Hey overlocking people. I have a pentiem 4 3.0 and I want to overclock it but my motherboard wont let me. Is there any way I can still overclock? My motherboard is a D865PERL. If theres any way I could overclock it would save me a ton of money because, otherwise I will have to upgrade EVERYTHING.

I'm reading that the motherboard you have isn't overclockable in the BIOS, but ClockGen should work.

Thanks for the warm welcome . I found a way to overclock using a program called systool and sucessfully overclocked from 3.0 to 3.2 ghz. It was stable and the temps were cool and everything. I started up a game on steam and I was really excited because, I saw I was getting better fps but, as I kept playing I noticed all the character movements were really choppy. Maybe I needed to restart before playing or maybe there are other clocks I need to change besides just the FSB? Or maybe I'm doomed to never be able to overclock with this computer
