FEAR DVD too scratched to install, what to do??

Thread Starter
Hi Guys,

I've been trying to install FEAR for a while, but back a while ago on my old OS, my DVD drive got hungry and it just about ate my DVD. So, I would like to install FEAR again, its the Directors Edition if it matters, but I press install and it never loads installshield. I still have the CD-Key. So, would I just be able to torrent the DVD then use my DVD, I'm lost and don't know what to do.

You can clean it with toothpast and a q-tip. I had a CD that would not read and this mad it perfect.

Put the toothpaste on the q-tip and rub it on the stracher in a circular motion until it dissapears or give it a few minuetes and try again

EDIT: This suggestion is actually legal.
