DVI>HDMI adapter

Thread Starter
I just got a 32" hdtv to use as my PC monitor and as a screen for my 360.

The 360 is connected on VGA, and so is the PC. Right now I am just switching them back and forth.

On the PC there are vertical lines of blurriness that change with I adjust the phase.

I was just wondering if I get a DVI>HDMI adapter if the blurry lines will go away.

Also, will that cable work properly and let me select the correct resolutions and stuff? I know that when I used the s-video-component cable the resolutions didn't show up right.

Is your PC trying to drive a resolution thats too high? What happens if you lower the resolution? try lowering it in increments, the lines should go away eventually.

No it is running at the native res (1366x768). The lines are there because of the VGA cable. I know that.

Plenty there. Just note that it wont carry any audio signal.
Very nice!
