Just to be careful I set the 3d high to 650 and 995. Thanks for the help. I'll have to run the scan later.

Okay, just make sure temps don't get to bad during gaming. You should know that ATItool puts a very high load on GPU...

I just ran 3dmark 06 and got 300 points higher than my previous. I was running the rivatuner app that shows the temp on the screen (maxed at 76c btw) so that might have taken a few points away. I hope to get higher once I reapply TIC, and figure out how to overclock my system right. For some reason I can't get it to overclock much at all (unstable at 330 fsb). Thanks for the help.

EDIT: Correction, overclocking the card actually brought my system up 600 points since I forgot that I reset my cpu overclock back to default.

76c max as far as the 3dmark tests go. That's with the stock hsf, nice to hear that's a good thing. My case's sidefan probably help a little. I ran the Atitool artifacts test and after 25 minutes it got up to 80c.

Oh

Yeah not a bad idea.. Tell me how that goes.. I want to do this myself but if I remove the HSF The thermal pads for memory may not go back on as planned.

Great guide.

Only thing I would change is maybe re-writing what you have in red font in the pictures in the actual post. Was kinda tiny. Also maybe add the step where you select Riva Tuner to launch on start up that we were talking about in the other thread I posted. Maybe even add that you need to change the launch thing to "Item" for your profiles to show up.

Just minor things, overall though, it was very good.
