It has to do with the chips that have a TJunctionMax of 100C rather than the 85C of the original conroes. Chips like the allendale with 100C did not will not read properly on old versions of coretemp that set TJunction max to 85C. So basically the old versions read 15C cooler than they are suppose to. E4300 has a TJunction Max of 100C. So the new version would be correct for your CPU.
