Memtest XP Home: 1024 x 2? Or what?

How do i run Memtest accurately? open two and run each at 1024mb?

The best way to use memtest is to boot it off of a CD-ROM or floppy. Memtest can be found here

If you are referring to the memtest that is run through windows, that is not the one that you want to use.

Running MemTest in Windows is close to pointless. MemTest will not be able to test the memory that the OS is using. Therefore, you will not get a complete test. Run MemTest86+ on bootup.

just burn memtest86 on a cd, boot from it and let it run overnight..if in the morning you have no errors , consider your ram as stable .
