Got my new Samsung 941BW, few questions

I love it so far, but really have no idea how to calibrate it so it works at its best, I have both the digital and analog hook-ups, and to be honest with you can't really tell the difference in picture quality between either. The fonts look great, but depending on the web page sometimes the picture doesn't look right, looks sort of washed out unless I sit exactly in front of the monitor, is this a normal thing for a lcd monitor? This is my first. I have no dead pixels either. Just certain still pics, like pics on my space pages don't look right unless I sit dead center in front of the monitor, other than that graphics are great, like scenery and desktop backgrounds. With analog I can auto tune it to a certain point, but with digital no way, auto tune is not available, so how do I optimise my new monitor?

If I remember the name right, check into Magictune software. Maybe not what you are looking for, but worth a look.

Usually if you use the DVI connection the monitor auto calibrates itself (sharpness and all that stuff) so the only things you would have to change are the color and brightness values.
The Magicthing software is the same thing as the controls on your monitor. It only adjusts things like color, brightness, and image positioning, things that you should be able to change from the controls on the monitor.
