Definately Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance for PS2.

I know it sounds crazy but every movement affects the whole pool, and interacts. Crysis looks nice but i dont think it counts as it isn't out

As for PC games i say F.E.A.R simply cuz:

Far cry: Never seen the water interact

Oblivion: Same

CoD2: You were never actually in it O_o

WoW: Come on... lets face it it stays flat

Crysis: Not out

Alan Wake: Not out

Stalker: Never seen

Half Life 2: Much of this game still looks and feels up to date, but the water has never been more than flat with bumped textures

Medal of honor: Old...

And to be honest this poll list is horrible

Not true. DX10 breaks from the old versions and offers many entirely different effects. While most of it will probably be the same algorithms updated for new hardware, it is not just a revamped dx9. M$ did something right with this - threw out everything they had and started over. Now if they would just do that with the OS...

you should pay some attetion to MS white papers here, vista is about 80% new code including the network stack which needed it badly. The next windows Codename Vienna will be 100% new or so they say, appernlty we wont even have a conventional start menu anymore

F.E.A.R really does have some nice ones, but out of the poll I'd say Farcry from what I've seen

It's new code - but the same exact functionality for the most part. The problem with windows does not lie with it's start menu - it lies with how it handles permissions and such. It's spaghetti code that has security stuck on as a patch. Until that changes windows will never be anything close to secure
