Ok guys I got enough to buy a 8800gts do you think I should do it. Or should i wait the lost planet reviews did not seem good for the dx10 cards. let me no what you guys think.

Lost Planet is not a good way to judge DX10, it was a port from a console, and the drivers for DX10 are really immature.

I think it'd be a good buy.

Wait as long as you possible can for any computer upgrade. Only upgrade when you need to, because the longer you wait, the cheaper things will be and the better things will be

Now, you can take it to far and never upgrade, and that would be bad. Upgrade no sooner and no later then you have to.

Judge DX10 from crysis vids and screenshots...Not lost planet as thats a poor app.

Don't buy a DX10 card until DX10 games are out. I regret buying the 8800GTS 640mb, even though it devours any games I throw at it. Who knows how DX10 will evolve..?

DX10.1 was already being developed before Vista even launched. So far, the only major improvement is that the application can select where and what to apply Antialiasing.
