I need help. I was moving around some furniture yesterday and did not hook my computer back up to the surge protector. We had a power outage and now my computer won't even turn on. I'm using my kids computer to post this!

When I hit the power button the power and HD LED's flash on for just a sec. then thats it.
I already tried a new PSU. No luck

Cleared CMOS

Most likely a bad motherboard. Could also have problems with ram and cpu.

Check for burns or popped capacitors anywhere on your motherboard. Is there any beeps at all? Or just turns on then right off?

Well, a power outage can cause a energy spike which can fry electronics if not connected to a protector.

Your PSU may have only been fried, but there's no telling what other damage has occured unless you try a working one.
