Hey. Im pretty new to overclocking, but i have tried to overclock my cpu It has gone very well and i dont need to worry about cooling
The load temp is 37 But the line break at 2500 mhz i cant get it to be stable over that I have a Asus M2N-MX mob. Thanks for all replies

Hi, I think your problem is with your ram! Pst a CPI-Z with your ram speed and timings

did you up the CPu and ram volts?
you need to put the ram on a divider or loosen the timings.
also, make sure to drop the HT multiplier to 4x or 3x

From the first shot of the cpuz you need to drop your HT LINK down to x4 or 3 as mentioned and then post another shot showing your ram timings

It should be under the Advanced TAB in your bios and then in the chipset area...maybe called the K8 to NB link or the HT multi you will know you got the right one when it only has these choices

well some have 200,400,600,800,1000 if that is true for your board then you want the 800

That may very well be the limit for the CPU. I have the same one and can barely get it stable over 2.6ghz. Several other people have told me they cant get past that barrier either, with the same CPU.
