dual cpu

I know its an overkill but I wanted to know if anyone knew where to get a dual cpu motherboard that is not xeon. Kind of like the voodoopc motherboards. I saw that intel is coming out with one but I haven't been able to find anyone selling them.

It's better to just get dual-core, since it's essentially the same thing as dual CPU with less bandwidth. Also, dual CPU motherboards are expensive server motherboards which require server RAM (ECC and registered), and can never or almost never be overclocked. A while ago I also had this fantasy, but I realized that it would not be a good idea. If you really want two CPUs you could get one of those 1207FX setups:

I agree with you. dual cpu's are a waist but, the voodoopc motherboard holds dual quad cores.
